YPL exists to give kids the thing pickleball never had: a real league. Teams, seasons, coaches, officials, ratings, championships and a pathway that goes as far as they're willing to take it.
Organized. Premium.
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America, and kids love it. But until now, youth pickleball has mostly been open play, drop-in clinics and the occasional tournament. No team to belong to. No season to look forward to. No record that follows them.
We're changing that.
YPL brings the structure of great youth sports to pickleball: city leagues with real teams, an 8-week season, background-checked coaches, certified officials, verified scores and a Player Passport that tracks every match of a junior career. Then we connect every city into one pathway: City, Regional, National, World.
It's organized. It's premium. And it's built to grow kids, not just players.

Every YPL season runs on the same non-negotiables, at every facility, in every city.
★Background-checked coaches and staff
Every YPL coach, City Director and on-court staff member passes a background check before they work with a player.
★Certified officials
Every match is officiated and scored by a trained YPL official, so results are fair and verified.
★Signed waivers and medical consent
Every player is covered by a participation waiver and medical authorization on file before the first match.
★Age-appropriate divisions
Kids play kids their own age and skill level. Always.
★Clear code of conduct
For players, coaches and parents. Respect on the court and on the sideline is non-negotiable.
★Parent-controlled data
We collect player information only from parents and guardians, and only what we need to run the league.

YPL is a Tampa Bay family business, owned and operated by people who live here, coach here and raise their families here. We are not a franchise from somewhere else and we are not a software company that discovered pickleball. We are parents and coaches who spent years on these courts watching kids fall in love with the game and then run out of places to take it.
Our passion is simple and it is threefold: coaching, because a great coach changes a kid’s life; youth, because the lessons of a team season outlast any trophy; and pickleball, because it is the most joyful, most welcoming sport in America and it deserves a real pathway for the next generation.
Every decision at YPL is made by someone who will be standing courtside on Saturday. That is our promise to every family: your player will be safe, placed fairly, coached well and treated like they belong here. Because they do.
